42) Can the TEYES Sony Lens camera replace the CC3 360 rear camera?
No it cannot be used in place of the CC3 360 rear camera, however the TEYES Sony lens camera can be used as an independent 5th camera that can be placed anywhere you choose.
41) How do I always keep the units WIFI on?

40) Which units have Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
Only the CC3 range (regular, 360 and 2K) have inbuilt Apple CarPlay and android auto.
If you have a model that is not a CC3, you would need to purchase an adapter (here)
39) Does the CC3 support wireless Android Auto?
Officially it does not, however clients with Android phones that are running Android 12+ are reporting that it does work. They are initially connecting and setting it up with Carlink app via the USB cable first, and then disconnecting the cable to find Android Auto Wireless working while connected by bluetooth alone. Some Android 12 phones will not, but we are not building a list of phones that can and cannot as it is too extensive and not guaranteed.

39) How do I download radio station names and covers that aren't pre-installed?

38) Can you map Siri or Google Assistant to a steering wheel button instead of TEYES Voice?
No currently it is not possible. But others have installed google voice from the play store and uninstalled teyes voice to get it to work.
37) Can I hotspot internet using my phone or do I need to use a dedicated SIM card?
You can hotspot internet from your phone to the head unit. Alternatively you can use the internal or external SIM card slot for the unit.
36) Is DAB+ inbuilt?
No you must purchase a seperate DAB+ module (here)
35) Does my OEM DAB+ work with this?
You might be able to retain the DAB+ antenna by connecting it to the SMA connection to this DAB+ module (here) . However generally you cannot.
34) I have some issues with my SIM card I inserted, what do I do?

33) Does the TEYES DVR dash camera work with the CC3 360?
Yes the TEYES DVR can work even with 360 models.
32) Can I use a 3rd party DVR to plug into the unit and use the TEYES DVR app?
No only genuine TEYES DVR cameras are compatible with TEYES systems and software.
31) Can I replaced the CC3 360 reverse camera with the TEYES Sony Lens camera?
No the Sony Lens camera is not compatible with the cc3 360 camera system, but can still be installed as an auxiliary camera to independently monitor caravans, rear trays, or any where you want to place it.
30) Does the TEYES DVR dash camera work with the CC3 360?
Yes the TEYES DVR can work even with 360 models.

The CC3 has been tested between 2.68VAC - 2.28VAC
22) Does the T'EYES head units support Android Auto and Apple CarPlay?
Yes only the CC3 supports Android Auto & wireless Apple Carplay. The other models such as the CC2 Plus, CC2L Plus, ect require a dongle that can be found here.
Although not officially supported, clients have reported some Android 11 phones are able to run android auto wirelessly (example, Samsung S20+, Samsung s22 Ultra, Samsung z3).
21) Do I need to replaced my OEM reverse camera?
If your OEM reverse camera is not 12VDC with AVI output it will not work unless you buy an retention adapter. If you decide to keep your existing camera be aware that if it is low resolution it will look stretched out and grainy on a much larger and sharper screen of T'Eyes systems.
The T'Eyes Sony Lens Camera has excellent low light performance and wide angle lens at 170 degrees. It is also capable of live view which allows you to view the camera anytime regardless if your in reverse gear or not.
Certain models such as the Hybrid 2021 RAV4 have issues with switching back from reverse camera and need to switch from reverse slowly back into gear. For this reason and the benefits of the T'Eyes camera we recommend upgrading to negate any issues.
20) Do I need the external microphone?
The external microphone will always be better than the integrated microphone.
19) Can I use my OEM microphone?
You can manually wire the OEM microphone into A19 and A20. You can refer to the drawing here (refer to Socket Name A)
18) How do I improve external microphone quality?
Physically disable the internal microphone so it does not interfere with it.
Newly manufactured motherboards from March 2023 support the function of switching between internal and external microphones in the software.
If you have installed an external microphone, please follow these steps to enable it, otherwise it will not work:
Go to Settings - Factory Settings - 168 - Microphone Switch.
For older motherboards, if you want to use only the external microphone, you need to physically remove the hardware of the internal microphone. Otherwise, both the internal and external microphones will work simultaneously.

17) My DVR and TPMS app is crashing, what do I do?
Do not use USB 1 port for these devices, use USB 2 & 3 port
16) Does the T'Eyes custom frames match my dash?
The images may not look identical in real life as its impossible for photos to look the same. There may be slight variances in texture and colour to what you see as different batches of frames are manufactured.

11) Why is there no user manual in my package?
Due to the immense amount of functions and features, the information on T'EYES systems is too large. Updates occur quite often to improve user experience, so we use an User Manual in how to videos. We have moved to this guide form for over 3 years now with no problem. You can find it here.
10) Can the CC2 Plus and CC2L Plus software be upgraded to CC3?
The CC3 technology is very different from the CC2 editions, therefore they cannot be upgraded to CC3 software.
Even if you try to force an update, it will not work due to various system constraints.
9) Can I root the T'Eyes system?
Rooting the device will void warranty.
8) What is TEYES Online?

It is a subscription based service that requires SIM card data to be installed inside of the unit. Via a mobile TEYES Online App, you are able to remotely track the position of the vehicle, take pictures from the TEYES Dash camera and remote control media, ect.
7) What is TEYES Voice Control?
It is like Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa for your TEYES head unit. The voice control software comes a pre-activated all CC3 units.

5) If I have to return an item, how do I do it?
In case of any problematic or incomprehensible question regarding T'EYES products, first of all you need to contact our customer support service.
4) Why has the CC3 been added with a cooling fan located outside the device case?
Firstly, the fan isn't required due to the CPU chipset which runs more efficiently, faster and cooler than its predecessors. However, T'EYES aim to go above and beyond our reliability, quality and longevity, we decided to include one anyway.
If the fan is installed inside the case, it would lead to a significant thickening of the back cover of the device. Due to the limited internal space of the center panel, it will become impossible to install the head unit in a range of cars. In addition, if the cooling fan is outside, it is easier to replace in the unlikelihood it needs to as fan failure has proven to be extremely rare.
3) Will T'EYES add new styling to the main interface of the CC3 in the future?
Yes, we are actively working to improve all our products.
2) Can the CC3 record the rear camera?
Since the June 2021 firmware this now enables recording of the reverse camera to a USB drive!
