How do I remove the radar display?

You can turn them off in the vehicle agreement section located in the factory settings

My OBDII app has connected to bluetooth but it tells me to connect to bluetooth
When pressing these 2 selections in the app, you must have the engine running. The data is not flowing because the engine is off, so the OBDII thinks it is not connected.

Do NOT install the VESTA app. This is specifically for Lada VESTA vehicles. Installing this will cause canbus issues and can damage your canbus!

I have a 360 system and the image looks like this
This is caused by connecting a camera to the F port. This is not compatible with the 360 system, if you want to use a 5th monitoring camera, install on the A port harness video input and view via the AUX app
Below is an example of what can happen if not all 360 cameras are installed.
My firmware fails to install after detecting the firmware
If you find this folder in the firmware directory, delete it.
My vehicle is see through/invisible on the 360 app, how can I fix it?
This is just a viewing option, select the TEYES logo to toggle this function.
My wifi keeps disconnecting to my phone affecting CarPlay / My bluetooth signal is weak.
You must always connect the supplied F port adapter that is for a reverse camera, even if you are not using a reverse camera. This is because it has important bluetooth and WIFI 2.4Ghz antennas on it.

Situation 1: My microphone sounds bad while using Apple Carplay. I sound very quiet / there is feedback where the caller hears themself.
Situation 2: I have problems with the external mic when connected to car play.
I have turned the internal mic off. The mic won’t work when the wifi is off and connected to car play. I have changed the settings for the wifi to stay on but it still doesn’t. So when I make a phone call no one can hear me.
When connected to just Bluetooth the mic works. Just seems to be when carplay is connected
The Carlink app for CarPlay is using the internal mic of the iPhone and the head unit for noise reduction, this is not optimal. Disable it by opening the Carlink app while bluetooth is disconnected (to give you more time to go into settings without the iPhone connecting).
Select NO for noise reduction.
There's a difference in sound between using Bluetooth audio and the audio directly from the head unit.
Go to settings --> Factory settings --> 168 --> Volume Balance settings and adjust accordingly to your preferences
NOTE: this does not control NAVI volume and other in-app volume controls. It only allows mixing.
If bluetooth call volume is too low, you can adjust the power conditioner. See here
Only the music from the TEYES apps sound good and uses the subwoofer. Instead any other app that plays music or videos doesn't sound right and is lower in volume or use subwoofer.
You must turn the bluetooth source up to maximum. In case of your phone turn it up to maximum. Activate the 5.1 in the equaliser to get the subwoofer working.
NOTE: Music volume and caller volume can be 2 different settings when using your phone so you must check them.
When someone calls, the default level is 16 and its very loud during carplay

My subwoofer is not working properly

After I installed the firmware, the reverse image is not showing when in reverse but live view functioning.
Reinstall the firmware to rectify.
Sound balancing - when I listen to radio app the sound is normal, but when I play fro USB or YouTube the sound balance shifts to the left.
Perform a factory reset: Settings --> User --> Backup/Reset --> 168 --> Clear all data
Update to the latest firmware after if required (here)
You will need to use a AV splitter
Whenever I drive over ~ 130KM/H or 80mph, a voice announces that I’ve been speeding and to drive safe. How do I turn this off?
Go to Settings --> User --> Driving Reminder --> from there you will have options for speeding reminder and fatigue driving reminder that you can enable or disable.
My door graphics and A/C display used to work but now it is not showing
1) Check here for a/c and door options
2) Double check your canbus settings
4) Go to Settings - System - About Device - Check if the canbus is being registered under CAN Protocol Version line, or if it is showing as Unknown. If Unknown, check your canbus connection on the harness and also to the C port for any lose connections.
3) If the above is ok do a factory reset
Power Issues
The unit does a full boot instead of quick boot every time the accessories is turned on. The Accessories G3 and Main battery power G2 are swapped around so that G2 is coming on with ignition and G3 is always on.
G1= 0VDC NEGATIVE
G2= 12VDC ACCESSORIES POWER (Swapped with G3)
G3= 12VDC MAIN BATTERY (Swapped with G2
Correct Vehicle Voltage condition on these pins when ignition is ON should be as follows:
G1= 0VDC NEGATIVE
G2= 12VDC MAIN BATTERY
G3= 12VDC ACCESSORIES POWER
Correct Vehicle Voltage condition on these pins when ignition is OFF should be as follows:
G1= 0VDC NEGATIVE
G2= 12VDC MAIN BATTERY
G3= 0VDC ACCESSORIES POWER
The unit only comes on when the reset pin is pushed and held in and the optical light on the back comes on when the ignition is on.
The accessories G3 is missing 12VDC. You have the following condition which needs to be fixed.
Check for blown fuses, wire misalignment from factory pin to G plug or if the G3 accessories is only supplied by canbus (not all cases), the canbus could be faulty by not outputting 12VDC even if it has G2 main battery supply to it.
G1= 0VDC NEGATIVE
G2= 12VDC MAIN BATTERY
G3= 0VDC ACCESSORIES POWER
Below is an example of a symptom of 0VDC on G3 Accessories input
The fuse is blowing when the unit is connected, then the Negative G1 and Main Battery G3 are swapped
Please note: The unit has a 15A fuse, some vehicles accessories are lower than this and can blow. You may need to either upgrade the accessories fuse for your vehicle if it's safe to do so, or run a new accessories line.
G1= 12VDC MAIN BATTERY
G2= 0VDC NEGATIVE
G3= 12VDC ACCESSORIES POWER
The unit turns off as expected by the battery is draining.
Sometimes in some systems, the canbus (if installed) keeps something "awake" in the engine bay which drains the battery.
The solution is to disconnect the G2 mains battery supply to the canbus, and power it by G3 accessories power only so that the canbus also turns off when the unit is off.
NOTE: If the G3 only comes from the canbus only, then you will be required to run your own accessories power to the main power supply to the canbus instead.
IMPORTANT: some installations with this issue have been identified as having the reverse camera incorrectly installed to the main battery G2 instead of the accessories. This will cause the camera to stay on all the time and drain the battery.
When I crank the key from accessory to ignition, the HU screen goes black for 1-2 seconds and then comes back. Is this normal?
My unit is not fast booting from start
Check in your Factory settings if you have Sleep Mode selected ON
In general settings, set sleep delay to 3 seconds.
My USB port / ports are not working.
- Check the connection for Port D (USB1) and E (USB2/3) and make sure they are pushed all the way in and seated correctly.
- Check the USB1 & USB2/3 cables for any damaged cables or loose wires.
- Check that the socket D and E pins are not bent or damaged
- Measure the voltage on pins 1 to 3 on socket D and E for 5VDC
- If you measure 5VDC then it is fine
- If no voltage if found on these pins, try to perform a factory reset Settings - User - Backup/reset - 168 - clear all data
- Unplug the canbus wait 5 minutes and plug it back in again.
- If still no success, send back for warranty repair
NOTE: If not using the supplied USB cables direct to the unit and instead using retention to the vehicles original USB port, this might not be compatible.
Whenever I start the unit the WIFI has to be turned on again. How do I keep the units WIFI on?
Swipe the screen down to reveal the Wifi icon, Press and hold it to open the WIFI options and do the follow the below steps.
1) Enter Wifi preferences
2) Turn on WIFI Automatically
My GPS tracking of position is not as smooth/accurate as when I use Android Auto/Apple Carplay
Check that your GPS antenna connection is secured. This is the most common cause.
You can check the GPS signal strength in the Settings --> Device --> GPS section
I have an issue where I will be playing radio and it automatically mutes itself when the vehicle stop/start is triggered.
Go to settings - Factory Settings - 168 - Start/Stop Enable
When flicking my interior lights on and off the unit cycles app modes, also it does not always start when turning the car on till I do a reset
Perform a factory reset - settings --> user --> Backup/reset - 168 --> Clear all data. This rare occurrence has been reported to be resolved with this method.
How do I connect the T'EYES reverse camera?
Make sure to not use crimp connectors, soldering is the best and most secure. There have been many reported issues with losening or failed connections using these types.

My OEM reverse camera works in reverse but not with live view
Live view is only supported by T'EYES reverse camera

You must check your connections, specifically the yellow reverse connection.

My T'EYES reverse camera is black and white.
Set the reverse camera is set to AHD in the factory settings (password 168)
The reverse camera works when the engine is off. When I start my vehicle and put it in reverse, the camera does not work.
This is caused by a voltage drop from the rear light, especially with long vehicles (Long cable run) and/or alot of work being done to it. Adding a relay for reverse light switching and taking power from the main battery or accessories power will resolve this issue.
The reverse camera is playing up, it displays static/frozen image on screen from time to time after shifting from reverse to forwarding. The static/frozen image will stay on the screen for 1 minute or more then back to normal
This is caused by lose connection on the Yellow RCA plug. Please check

T'EYES 360 reverse camera has a delay before it shows up when I put it in reverse.
REASON 1: You must have ALL 4 x 360 cameras installed. Not doing so will cause a delay on the rear 360 camera
REASON 2: You have a canbus and have not disconnected G5 (reverse detect) from it. This must be wired directly from the G plug to the Reverse Light power.
I have a CC3 360 or CC3 2K 360 and I don't want to use the 360 camera system. I want to install a camera using the F port but its not working.
The F port is disabled in the 360 system. If you want to use the F port for a reverse camera when not installating the 360 camera system, you must install the non-360 firmware on your unit. Make sure to install the correct firmware 2K/Non-2K
I have a Mercedes Benz Vito 3 W447 (2014-2020) and when I select the "trigger when turn" option OFF so that my CC3 360 does not trigger the side cameras when indicating, it still triggers.
It was reported that updating the 4 x APKs resolved this issue.
I have OEM amplifier but its not turning on.
If the supplied harness supports OEM amplifier, it should have a BLUE AMP wire. Connect this to either G3 Accessories, or to Blue AMP-C that is on the supplied CC3 AUX harness that has the sim card reader on it.
My screen is not dimming and the side capacitive buttons are not illuminating when I turn the head lights on.

My screen is flickering dark and bright.
If you have non-canbus safe LED that has replaced your glove box light and there is no glove box switch, change the LED back to the normal incandescent globe.
My screen dim for head lights is in manual mode and no timer is active. My screen does not DIM to the settings I put when I turn my head lights on.
If your instrument panel illumination also controls the dashboard lights illumination, then please check that your instrument panel illumination dial is turned up above its lowest level.

My 360 Cameras are not working.
Disconnect the 360 cameras and connect 1 at a time and see if an image appears for the respective camera. A fault cable lead out to a camera may cause all of the cameras to go blank.
How do I enable/turn off A/C display?
If your OEM head unit supports this function it should carry over most times to the unit. To turn on/off this setting

My default volume is too loud/quiet, how do I adjust it?
Go to settings --> General --> Enable Default Volume Switch --> Open Default boot volume option and set to your desired level
My boot screen logo option is missing or not opening in factory settings.

My dynamic reverse guidelines are moving in opposite direction to my steering wheel.

My OEM unit used to display my A/C, how can I do it?
Depending on your vehicle, you must have the correct canbus settings entered. Also you should check the following below. If your OEM head unit did not show such data, or it is a trim level not supported by our package, it will not be carried over.
Go to Settings --> Factory --> 168 --> Original Car Agreement --> A/C information ON/OFF --> Toggle to the Right
My unit is not sleeping, but performing a full boot on start
Go to Settings --> Factory --> 168 --> if Sleep mode setting is off (to the left) toggle it on (to the right), If it is already ON (to the right) toggle it OFF and ON again.
When I try to open my app draw it is blank

My "Themes" keeps reseting to another theme.
If you are running the latest firmware and having this issue, please do the following:
Go to Settings --> Device --> Apps --> Health Monitoring Service --> Disable
This service is mainly for mobile devices and not required.
This keeps popping up on my screen when changing launchers.
Update to the latest firmware (here)
Once updated, reconnect the unit to the internet and reboot is required.
How do I change my time settings to 24hr?
Go to Settings --> System --> Date and Time --> Use 24-hour format
My GPS stopped working, how can I fix it?
1) Check that the SMA connection at the rear of the head unit is not loose
2) Check for any cabling damage
3) Swipe the screen down and select "Reboot"
4) If that does not work, perform a factory reset

5) If each of those steps do not resolve the problem, replace the GPS dongle

There is a "str_release_space_fail" prompt coming up on the bottom of the screen. What does this mean?
This is for 360 systems. It means that the 360 recording video drive is full. You need to format it.
When ever I start my car the unit starts. When I turn on the head lights of my car the power to the head unit goes out. When I turn off the head light the power comes back to the head unit.
We found that this issue was due to the connections not being connected properly
TEYES DVR stops recording, whenever the DVR app is displayed at first it begins to record and will do so for a few minutes then stops. If I display any other app momentarily, it will start recording again once it is displayed, but only for about the same duration.
This was resolved by changing to another microSD card. 6GB is also the recommended maximum storage size.
Although android auto WIRELESS is not officially supported on the CC3. Some phones are connecting but some have connection issues which are resolved with the below steps.
- Clear the Google Services cache - Text tutorial Open Settings->Apps & notifications->Google Play services->Storage & Cache->Clear Storage
- Clear Android Auto cache - Text tutorial Open Phone Settings->Apps & Notifications->Android Auto->Storage & Cache->Clear Storage
- Upgrade Android Auto and Google Map in Google Store on your phone
- Restart the phone, ignore all Bluetooth in your phone (CK: this means delete all Bluetooth connections.
- First use the data cable to connect the phone and the box into the wired Android Auto, connect successfully and then disconnect the data cable to reconnect the wireless Android Auto (CK: and also start the Autokit app)
Apple Music app is not working.
Uninstall and re-install again. The music will need to be re-downloaded
If installing an anti-virus app, it may detect base system apps such as Gesture and UI Server apps. You do not have to worry about these and you cannot remove them.
Samsung Work Profile - Teams issue
My samsung has a work profile and inside that profile is Teams. When I receive a call I need to receive the call on my phone, not the head unit. It seams as though when the teams call is ended, the unit holds onto the phone Bluetooth connection and you cannot get audio through stereo at all.
