This is my first Android based Radio. Before i used more common known vendors like Alpine or Kenwood. What i realy have hated on my Alpine iLX-705D, was the fact that i could not use Android Auto wireless. Even the newest models can not do. ?????
But right know, i use my mobile phone Hotspot more loveley instead of using Android Auto with the CC3.
All at all i am really happy with the CC3 together with the 360 Birds Eye view set. RCA sound ist not as good as the Alpine iLX-705D RCA, but i use the Optical output of the CC3 right in to my ESX DSP. This is defnitly a game changer to the Alpine RCA output. No noise, much bigger stage, crystal clear.
The 360 birds eye view ist der hammer. :-)). we say here in germany.
But what i really dont like on the CC3.
You can not change the volume of the navigation voice, ore any other things like phone call etc. individually to the musik volume. When i listening music a little bit louder and use the navigation, the navigation voice kills nearly my ear drums. On the other side the phone voice is to low. I always must rise the volume knob very high to understand my caller. But dont forget to make it quiter right after the phon call end. Then you get a problem. There are a volume settings for different audio devices in the CC3 device settings, but without any effect.
Google Maps does not work like expected. The program buttons are going to hide while navigation and switching screens. Very bad if you want to change navigation settings or stop the navigation. I use the kill application feature to get the buttons back. But then all other application are also stopped.
The Internet Radio App does not play most of the German Radio stations. Maybe they changed the adresses or what ever. With other radio Apps i have no problems. But can not integrate in to the main screen.
Some more minor screen switching issues. But i can life with it.
If all issues are fixed, i would give the device full stars.
