NOTE: DO NOT power the vehicle on without the A/C controls plugged in, otherwise the programming of the vents, A/C and heater controls will be messed up and you will then require a auto electrician to reset the A/C system.

When install is completed, set the car to ignition (do not start the engine) and let the A/C vents cycle for 20 seconds before turning it on.

It took me a month and a half to finally get the most of my radios functions due to the fact that there is no instructions on how to install the unit. I installed the unit and have been troubleshooting it ever since. The wireless Apple play doesn’t always connect so I have to turn off Bluetooth and reconnect if I want to use wireless CarPlay.

If this was a plug and play I would have given a better rating. I had to do most of the trouble shooting, and communicating with a more than 16 hour time difference is not fun.

I had to buy a rear camera adapter to see the rear camera and the Canbus recommended setting was not right for my truck. Easy fix if I would have been told what it was. Had to troubleshoot this and just recently got it working right. Steering controls worked with the provided adapter but I lost other steering wheel controls like cruise control. I had to bypass the adapter and tap into the original steering wheel harness. Troubleshooting this myself.

So far so good right now but it’s not perfect. I’m still optimistic.
