The unit itself works great and it was pretty much plug and play after doing some research. The screen looks great and the data, wifi, and gps works with no problems so far.
The extra steps mainly concerns US buyers. For some reason, Ford decided to use a different design for their dashboard than the rest of the world. It looks exactly the same on the outside but the clips are in different places. This means you will need to modify the plastic dash in order to get it to sit properly in the head unit. In my case, I modified it by grinding off the plastic clips, drilling 4 holes into it and used 4 Hillman push fasteners variable depth gm to lock it into the head unit.
Another step involves switching the units back from metric to imperial on the odometer and the air conditioner. It took me a while to find it but the steps are: Settings, device, apps, vehicle settings, open, vehicle settings, and change measure units.
It was worth the upgrade and surprisingly it was an upgrade in sound quality as well. Would highly recommend if you are fine with modifying the dash to make it work.
