Honda Accord 7 CM UC CL (2002-2008)

The system is great other than the limited install instructions.
They have a video on how to do it BUT it’s not very detailed at all. They don’t show you how the wires go into the back of the system which is especially tricky when installing the rear view camera.
The air con system also doesn’t display the fan settings. If there is away to sort this out it isn’t mentioned you.
They customer service team are good although a little slow to respond to emails and their help section where you can leave questions for them on their site is hardly ever answered if at all answered. I seen questions on there waiting months for answers, which makes you wonder why they even have that section on their website.
Other than that it is a great system and the team do look after you if you email directly. I just wish the customer care was a bit improved.

I have an accord 7 executive 2006, left steering wheel. Took CC3 2 to 3/32. There was a problem when connecting the climate. If you use a loop from the kit (pictured), then the climate does not work at all: neither the buttons to the frame, nor the touch ones on the screen. As a result, the climate started working.
Yes, and also, for my car, the use of the CANbus model listed on the Teyes website did not fit. At the direction of the engineer Teyes, put the CANbus as in the photo.
As a result, the climate works, the opening of the Doors shows on the screen, the temperature overboard also shows on the screen. Only the flex cable from the supply is not needed.

Nickel and dime
I really want to like this head unit but… Installation was not self explanatory. No instructions. It took several hours to get my AC to work. The 4 pin connector that plugs into the climate control does not fit! Eventually, I realized this and was able to compress the plastic clip that was preventing the connection with a pair of dykes so that it would fit. In fact none of the connectors fit well. Once you do get one plugged in God forbid you want to take it back out. This risks destroying the harness. The Bluetooth only intermittently connects to my phone and will not download my contacts. But that really does not matter because no one can hear me through the internal mic nor the mic I purchased from T’eyes. Dan from T’eyes told my to just take apart the mic ribbon cable and rewire the thing! What a joke! To top it off, they sent me the 9 inch screen protector for the 10.2 inch CC3 and told me it was my fault for ordering the wrong one despite the fact that it was part of the pre-checked bundle on the order screen for the CC3. I had no Idea I was supposed to know they would offer the wrong size screen protector for my specific unit on my car specific page and I needed to change it. Be careful. Again Dan from T’eyes refuses to acknowledge their bad and will not send me the one that fits. The British guy on YouTube that touts this thing as the best head unit ever must have gotten something else. Interesting to me most of the recent reviews are scathing.

I am very pleased with the quality of the display and of the speed in which this unit goes from screen to screen and app to app. There is no lag in functionality compared to others i have tried.

I like the fact that it has a cooling fan so to not let the unit overheat which in my experience has caused problems in other units I have used before. They also have a feature which is really good and that you can conect directly to there servers for updates of applications and upgrades.
I am also extremely pleased with the quick response in customer support from Dan. As I tell you the good things I must also tell you what I think needs to be improved. The manual controls for the climate control temperature are in my view cheaply made and do not stop at lowest cold point or at highest heat point. They just spin completely around and are actually not even straight they move and are un even.
I purchased the OBD2 sensor and unfortunately it keeps losing the Bluetooth connection. Another issue is that Android Auto will not connect wirelessly, but does connect wired. The only other issue is that on the music player everytime you turn car off the last song you are playing starts from the beginning. Also playing music from a memory stick or USB stick the individual song time I s not displayed at the bottom like on internal music that comes with it so you can fast forward or go partially back like they show on there how to use video. It would be also really good if Teyes can give an explanation for each of the symbols on there steering wheel controls so that you don't have to do trial an error to figure out what they do, because some of them you don't know what they are.
I am sure that Teyes is always working on improving the features and any issues will be addressed. I am very pleased with this unit and I would definitely recommend this unit to whomever is looking to upgrade there original unit on there Honda Accord or any vehicle because the Teyes CC3 is an all around great unit.
