The unit seem to be well build, boots up fast and looks nice. No complaints there.
However, there is nothing special about this unit regarding the integration with KIA Ceed JD. This basically just a universal head unit with KIA Ceed JD bezel and couple of KIA specific harnesses. And I would be fine with that if those harnesses would be complete but they are not. I have KIA Ceed JD 2016 with satnav, FM and DAB radio, reverse camera and super vision cluster but canbus decoder is not provided with this head unit so nothing is integrated. To make things worse - not even the built in microphone is used from the car (the pins from the harness are missing for car mic) and there is no way for me to set the car clock since that was done through the satnav. Also, provided cable for OEM reversing camera does not fit (i have a 24pin connector).
Currently I returned to the original satnav until I buy (or make) wire harness that has all required pins I find which canbus works with this car, so I can actually use basic features of my car (mic, camera, set car clock...)
I would not recommend this unit if you look for well integrated device.
Nice performance for this cost. the sound was really improved.
Excellent quality very nice multimedia, I bought the 2k version of 6gb ram 128gb memory. Apparently they send high-priced products to Turkey due to customs procedure, I brought it to my friend by ordering through Denmark. I am very pleased.
It will be very good if the problem of ordering to Turkey is solved.
