Mazda MX-5 MX5 III 3 NC Series 1 (2005-2008)

I saw a review on YouTube about this teyes stereo and decided to get one. on looking at the reviews for the stereo on Teyes website I noticed only 2 reviews and they both where from unhappy customers. I decided to write this review to give some balance based on my experience. I have a UK 2008 NC 1.8 mx5.I do not have the Bose stereo just the standard one. firstly, the facia was exact and fitted with no issues. The sound was so much better. it really brings the car Alive. The speakers sound so much better without an additional amp. if you have an NC 2006-2008 this should fit without any hassle. I am so happy with the product I will be adding all the optional extras. dash cam, and tyre pressure sensors. I have a cheap eBay reverse camera and it works fine. but now I have tasted champagne I think I will upgrade that camera. from the time I placed the order it took between 2-3 weeks to arrive. great product would highly recommend.

I bought the cc3 for my mazda mx5 nc 2006, Wich on this site says it is for the 2005 to 2008 model. When i got it today and wanted to install the head unit, the canvas didn't fit. So that means it IS for the 2009 to 2015 mx5, and NOT for the 2005 to 2008 model. I am so disappointed in the fact that I had to find this out myself after waiting a month for the unit to arrive. waiting for a email from teyes so we can fix the problem, and I can give it a better rating

Pictures says for 2008-15 then when I was about to check out I see a note saying it's NOT suitable for 2008-15, come on get it together!
I was so excited I'd found a 9" custom fit for my car and now I can only imagine how it would've been nice to have it in my car, I'm so frustrated
