Poor poor service

I bought this head unit thinking I was buying quality from a good company. My existing reverse camera will not work with the unit nor does the radio. After literally dozens of emails with a week between responses I have finally given up. I would never buy from this company again.

Excellent Android Head Unit - perfect fit for Vito/Metris

This is the second TEYES head unit I’ve installed. This one actually has a slightly larger 10 1/2 inch 2K screen. It’s bright with high contrast and excellent touch responsiveness. And the figment kit for our Canadian based Metris that comes with it is perfect. Everything snapped into place and fit perfectly. It looks like a factory installation when it’s done. It replaces the entire surround for both the head unit and climate controls.

While I primarily use this with the wireless CarPlay and the 360 camera system, and therefore can’t speak to the capabilities of all the features in the primary interface,I still strongly recommend the T’EYES product as a price per value purchase. The only reason I gave it four stars was because they could do a much better job with providing documentation whether it be online or in writing. The software offers a ton of features and customization, but the labels for each of the settings are somewhat cryptic and hard to make sense of sometimes. What online documentation that they do have is haphazard and scattered in different places.

Best radio ever

I've tried three different radios and I sent them back after a week. Teyes was my fourth choice and after two months I didn't find anything to complain of. This radio is just PERFECT 👌. I already recommended it to few of my friends and they all are amazed too. I also have to mention excellent customer service. I bought another radio for my brother, but initially Teyes didn't have dedicated unit for his car. However, the managed to find a radio that matches original size and found right wiring based on picture I sent them... after all my brother's radio fits well and works perfect.
Thank you Teyes. I will always recommend you.

My Experience with the T’eyes Head Unit

Overall, the T’eyes head unit has been a substantial addition to my 2017 Mercedes Metris. Its functionality and interface are generally impressive, and it has significantly enhanced the driving experience. However, I must note a couple of persistent issues that have marred the overall user experience.

Firstly, the internal microphone quality isn’t up to par. It has been consistently unreliable, with the person on the other end of the line often reporting that my voice sounds distant. Furthermore, when trying to utilize the external mic, no sound is captured at all, making phone communication while driving quite a challenge.

Secondly, the Canbus feature, which used to conveniently display the status of doors and the air conditioning on the unit’s screen, has stopped functioning after the most recent software/firmware update. This was a key feature for me, and its absence is noticeable.

My interactions with the tech support team have unfortunately been less than satisfactory. Despite my numerous attempts to resolve these issues, the responses from my assigned tech support person, Mark, have been piecemeal and ultimately unhelpful. The issue persists, and the suggestion to “leave everything the way it was” did not seem like a constructive solution.

Despite these issues, I appreciate the overall quality of the T’eyes head unit. However, the product could greatly benefit from more reliable tech support and a commitment to fixing bugs after software updates. As it stands, I am left wanting for solutions to issues that impact a significant portion of my user experience. I hope to see improvements in this area soon.
