Wiring Modification - Mitsubishi Pajero 4 / Montero / Shogun V80 V90 (2006-2018)

This variant head unit needs 2 modifications to -

1 - Make the original AMP turn on to have sound.

2 - Install relay to turn amp off when accessory power is off to prevent power drain.

NOTE: Around the world the colour coding may be different. So please check the wiring diagram of your head unit to identify the amp control wire.

The white plug circled in green is the one that connects all the way at the back to the AMP

Below the GREEN cable with RED strip is from the AMP and is responsible for turning the amplifier ON and OFF.

Cut this green wire with red strip from the plug and connect it to the BROWN AMP-C wire from the provided T'EYES harness. Now this will turn the AMP ON

PROBLEM:

The AMP will stay on and drain the battery even if the car is off.

SOLUTION:

Have these 2 wires switched via a relay instead like below

NOTE: The other variation with pajero head unit, we found the same relay method needed to be used but with pin 7 antenna power to get the amplifier on. it is quite possible that the wiring pinout is labelled wrong or no correct wiring pinout for this exists
