Volvo XC90 C (2002-2014) Installation Guide

The Volvo CX90 2002-2014 comes with 2 different wiring harnesses.

The Volvo has 2 different access points for the wiring harnesses:

Location 1: Under the passenger seat where the amplifier is located (factory standard) Location 2: Behind the radio unit in the center console

 

Place 1 pictures:

The wiring harness below, it has the connectors for the amplifier as well as an optic connector

The connectors are clear which need to connect to the amplifier, the green connector

The connector plugged to the unit

 

Connecting the harness to the back of the center console radio.  

 

This harness has the optical connector

 

The unplugged socket for the optical connector from the Volvo center console unit

 

The plug from the Volvo head unit optical connector. However this connector does not fit the connector that came with the Teyes harness. You use the provided optical cable to connect the optical box to the rear amplifier instead

The red and white audio cables from the harness connected to the 5.1 RCA on the CC3 unit

 

The canbus from the CC3 unit connected to the harness

 

The black plug connected to the CC3 unit
