WARNING - Errors caused by damaging DVR connector

BE AWARE! When connecting and hiding away the connector for the DVR, DO NOT BEND or cause the connection to be bent.

This has caused the DVR itself to be damage and not work properly or not work at all.

Other symptoms include the following

• Slow start ups where system freezes or is very sluggish and hanging on startup
• Causing firmware updates to fail
• Making the reverse mode stuck on the reverse screen and unresponsive even when vehicle is taken out of reverse.
• It is also potential for other random issues which have not been listed above.

Example of a bent connector which caused all of the above problems is shown in the image below. The camera had to be replaced.
